About

Our Impact

We are national leaders in a broad network of groups tackling farmland access, tenure, and transfer across the country. We’ve helped many farmers secure access to land or transfer a farm, and worked with non-farming landowners to make land available for farming. While New England is our focus for direct service, our impact is felt nationally. We believe strongly in collaboration and partnership, and we share knowledge and experience with agricultural service providers to better serve farmers. Through our work, a more equitable vision of farmland access can be realized.

This past year, 207 clients received one-one-one advising and technical assistance from 5 field staff, while hundreds more utilized our resources to gain ground:

“I have consistently used LFG’s resources to shape and develop my services for farmers and landowners. I recommend many of your resources to the populations I serve and know that it’s helped a lot of people make more informed decisions!”
