How We Help

Navigating farmland access, tenure, and transfer options can be overwhelming and complex.

Our team works on the ground in New England, offering education and individualized coaching to farmers and landowners. We offer robust Resources and administer New England Farmland Finder, the region’s largest farm link website. We provide professional development opportunities and collaborative networks for service providers to be better equipped to assist farmers and farmland owners.

Informed by this work on the ground, we share lessons learned and raise awareness. We suggest policy and service improvements that address the changes needed to shift power and redistribute farmland access more broadly. We conduct research on the challenges and explore innovative tenure models. We join in partnership with local, regional, and national organizations to advance this work in a variety of ways.
